CCM Jetspeed FT850 Inline Hockey Skates
Built for recreational and intermediate roller hockey players who want a comfortable, responsive skate that performs well.
The injected boot uses an ergonomic shaping system that wraps the foot naturally for a secure, supportive fit, while the roller-texturized finish improves durability against wear and abrasion. Inside, an HD microfiber liner with an added EVA comfort layer delivers long-lasting comfort deeper into the boot, and a 7mm felt tongue with a foam core helps reduce lace bite and adds protection over the top of the foot.
Underfoot, the two-piece steel Hi-Lo chassis provides a stable, responsive base, paired with staggered CCM roller wheels — smaller wheels at the front for quick turns and maneuverability, larger wheels at the back for speed. ABEC 5 bearings round out the setup for a smooth, consistent roll suited to training and competitive recreational play.

A note on wheels and playing surface
The stock 82A wheels are a solid all-rounder — durable and balanced for mixed use across sport court, sports hall, and smoother outdoor surfaces. However, if you play strictly on indoor sport court or polished wood, you may want to swap to a softer, higher-grip wheel (typically 72A–78A) for better traction and tighter cornering. We stock replacement inline wheels in a range of hardnesses, and our Bristol and Swindon stores can advise on the right setup for where you play.
The verdict
If you're stepping up from a starter inline skate or looking for a reliable second-season skate that won't break the bank, the FT850 sits in a well-judged middle ground: real steel chassis, hockey-grade liner, and a boot shape that suits most recreational players.
